According to the great Hindu belief there are four basic categories of the sacred Yoga, such as: Karma Yoga, Gyana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Raja Yoga. There is a very interesting history of Yoga.

According to the seal from way back in the Indus Valley Civilization, a figure or image is depicted in meditation posture of Lord Shiva Pashupati by the archaeologists who had discovered it. The images of over 5000 years back from the Indus Valley Civilization shows a Yogi sitting in the meditation posture.
